Father Tom is the Provincial Director for the Northeast Province. Each Province has a Vincentian priest as part of the leadership team whose historical roots trace back to the time of Saint Vincent de Paul and his collaboration with Saint Louise de Marillac. According to the 2004 Constitutions, the Director "provides for a Province a service of Vincentian animation and accompaniment, in collaboration with the Visitatrix (Provincial) and her Council."
Father Tom hails from Queens, New York. He graduated from St. John’s University with a biology degree, and had his eye on applying for medical school. His career plans took a different turn when he entered the Vincentian seminary in 1966. Tom was ordained in 197l and has been involved in education throughout his priesthood, most recently at St. John’s in Queens. He was also the Director at the Vincentian Renewal Center in Princeton prior to his appointment as Superior of the Vincentian Community at Niagara University. Tom was also recently appointed to the Board of Trustees at Niagara.
Tom is a great traveler, cook, and liturgist. The Daughters are happy to have him as part of their team.
