Good Samaritan Medical Center, Pottsville, PA

The local community is the primary place of belonging for the Daughters of Charity.
Community living fosters among them a sharing that extends not only to material conditions
but also to spiritual and apostolic commitments.
In dialogue experiences are shared, differences are minimized
and decisions are sought together.

The local community at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Pottsville, PA take seriously the charism of the Daughters of Charity to proclaim the Good News through service and prayer and community. Most of the eight sisters who form this community minister in various roles at the hospital. Sisters Paula G. and Paula S. minister at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary High School in Pottsville.
