Lourdes Hospital
In Binghamton, New York there are six Daughters of Charity who live at the Clark House on Riverside Drive. Four of them work in the Lourdes Hospital Health System: Sr. Mary Ann is chairperson of the hospital board of directors, Sr. Marilyn works with the staff to assure they understand and implement the hospital’s mission, Sr. Kathleen works in the Pastoral Care Department, and Sr. Fredrica is a nurse in the hospital’s hospice program. Sr. Molly works for Broome County Catholic Charities as director of the Monsignor Peter Owens Center which provides food and advocacy to those in need. Sr. Mary Rose works as a pastoral assistant at St. Paul’s Church in Binghamton.
