The local community is the primary place of belonging for the Daughters of Charity.
Community living fosters among them a sharing that extends not only to material conditions
but also to spiritual and apostolic commitments.
In dialogue experiences are shared, differences are minimized
and decisions are sought together.

Seven Daughters of Charity form the local community at St. Vincent’s Residence, Bridgeport, CT: Sr. Rose, Sr. Anne Marie, Sr. Michele, Sr. Andrea, Sr. Marie, Sr. Louise and Sr. Victoria. All the sisters are involved in ministries related to St. Vincent’s Medical Center or St. Vincent’s College in Bridgeport.
